JUNIORS
A very warm welcome to the Witney Hockey Club Junior Section!
We take great pride in our inclusive and high-quality junior programme, offering top-level hockey coaching for children aged 5 to 18, of all abilities. Our sessions are designed to help young players build confidence, develop skills, stay active, and most importantly, have fun as part of a team. With guidance from qualified coaches, many of whom are senior players providing positive role models, our Juniors learn the game in a safe, supportive environment, growing not just as athletes but as valued members of the Witney Hockey Club community.
At Witney Hockey Club, we know how to support Juniors with big ambitions, including progressing into England Hockey Development Centres. With county level coaches on our committee, we’re proud to see many of our players regularly selected for Junior Development Centre (JDC) programmes. But whether a child is aiming for elite hockey or simply wants to have fun, we make sure every session is enjoyable, inclusive, and focused on developing core skills, week in, week out. Many of our current adult players began their journey in our junior programme, including several members of our Ladies 1XI and Men’s 1XI. It’s a true testament to the nurturing environment and high-quality coaching we’re proud to offer.
Please fill out the contact form below to check if spaces for training are available. We're always looking to find new junior players!
