After a hugely successful debut, we are delighted to announce that the WHC Rams League will return for Summer 2026!

First launched in the summer of 2025, the league was masterminded by Jacob Deacon and Harry Swift with a simple goal: to bring together players from across the club in a fun, inclusive, and competitive format. The result was something truly special.

The Rams League united players of all ages, abilities, and genders, creating a unique environment where Juniors and Seniors played side by side. Throughout the competition, friendships were formed, skills were developed, and players had the opportunity to learn from one another both on and off the pitch.

One of the standout moments from the inaugural tournament was highlighted by our Club Chair, Andy Gosnell-Whyman. He recalled seeing some of the club's Year 8 girls confidently leading team talks for mixed teams of Senior and Junior players. It was a fantastic example of the confidence, leadership, and sense of community that the Rams League helped to foster, and perfectly captured what made the competition such a success.

The league quickly became one of the highlights of the summer calendar, combining competitive hockey with the welcoming and inclusive spirit that defines our club.

With such a positive response from players and supporters alike, we are thrilled to be bringing the Rams League back for another year. Teams have already been sorted, and we are thrilled that even more members and new comers are getting involved.

We look forward to seeing you on the pitch this summer! 🏑
